Erion is an Albanian born choreographer based in London. He works in the international stage, where he is commissioned to create dance performances in different mediums. His works range from dance theatre to immersive show to purely contemporary physical dance. His works are raw, daring and challenging. His raw tribal grooves  derives from his Albanian folk dance background and has its vitality in his blood. He is an all rounded artist that creates the light design, costumes and music score for all his shows. He utilises his life experience, growing up in dictatorship and living almost half of his life in western countries to create about both those worlds. Both different and yet so similar. He lures the audience into his world of imagination with intensive lights and sounds that he creates. He likes to create and research about the unknown world of human behaviour and the relationships.His passion and creativity makes him unique in his style and creations.

 

Choreography

His worked has been recognised as futuristic, energetic, grooving, trance-like experience and unique.

 

Music

Erion creates and compose’s his own music for every show he is commissioned. He believes it allows him and his work to provide the audience with the best tools to connect to his imagination.

 

Movement Director

He collaborated with Almeida Theatre as a movement director for the first time in 2019. A new theatre play called The Wave.

Workshops

Since he started dancing he has been always in search of learning and exploring dance and body language. He has moved from ballet to physical dance theatre to modern and contemporary dance. With an extensive knowledge of different styles he teaches workshop all over the world to share his experience. Each workshop has a unique theme and focuses on freedom of movement and mind.
